Dear JCI Sibu Past Presidents, Members, Partners, and Friends,
As I step into the role of President of JCI Sibu for 2026, I do so with deep gratitude, humility, and a strong sense of responsibility. This journey is not one I walk alone. It is built on the trust, support, and legacy left by past leaders, and strengthened by the passion and commitment of every member who believes in the purpose of JCI.
Our theme for 2026 is EMPOWER — a word that reflects both our direction and our promise. To me, EMPOWER means creating a space where members feel confident to step forward, brave enough to try, and supported enough to grow. It is about Engagement that builds connection, Motivation that inspires action, Passion that fuels perseverance, and Opportunities that unlock potential. It also reminds us to lead with Wisdom, strive for Excellence, and be bold enough to create a positive Revolution through our actions.
JCI Sibu has always been more than an organisation; it is a training ground for leadership and a family that grows together. In 2026, my vision is to empower every member — new or experienced — to believe that their contribution matters. Leadership is not defined by titles, but by influence, service, and the willingness to make a difference.
This year holds special significance as JCI Sibu proudly takes on the honour of hosting the 2026 JCI National Convention. This is a milestone that reflects the confidence placed in our chapter at the national level. Hosting the convention is not merely about organising an event; it is about unity, teamwork, and showcasing the strength, professionalism, and hospitality of Sibu. It is an opportunity for our members to rise together, learn together, and leave a lasting impression on the national stage.
As we celebrate the 69th Installation & Awards Ceremony, I would like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to our past presidents, advisors, partners, and members who have journeyed with us. To our newly inducted members and leaders, welcome to a year of growth, challenges, and meaningful experiences.
Let us move forward together in 2026 — empowering one another, embracing change, and building a legacy that we will be proud of for years to come.
